Castanets from the South have arrived! Handcrafted in Seville by the Hernández brothers' workshop since 1980.
These castanets are made from beech wood, which has been dyed to achieve a look similar to granadillo. The harvesting of this type of wood is fully controlled and certified by organizations dedicated to this purpose, so we can ensure that you are purchasing an environmentally friendly product. This type of wood gives the castanet a fine, harmonious sound that will surprise listeners. Please note that, as they are made from natural wood, you may find that the castanets are not completely uniform and the grain pattern may be different on each one.
